April Has Been the Deadliest Month For US Forces Since Last Year: 44 KIA

With the unfortunate news this morning alerting us (even though it was largely ignored by the main stream media) that four more United States military personnel were killed in battle yesterday the Associate Press points out a grim reminder of the ongoing War in Iraq:

“At least 44 American soldiers have been killed in Iraq in April, making it the deadliest month for U.S. forces since last September.”

Which was the deadliest month since August, which was the deadliest month since June, which was the deadliest month since, which was the deadliest month since…

When does it end, I mean it’s been five years and I think it’s crystal clear the only reason our countries braves are still in Iraq is because we have a President who is unable to swallow his pride, even if his the inaction costs the life’s of the men and women of our armed services.
